One page after another

I'm learning to paint with watercolors. It's a slow process.

Tic, toc, like a clock. It's not at all what I was thinking, it's about learning restraint and patience .

It's about " letting the paint do its thing" ( as Shari Blaukopfs puts so well) . And about not letting it do it, too. 

Results are always unexpected. Colors don't follow book rules. 

The hardest thing is to learn when to stop. I'm always late.  

But, one day after another, I'm learning.  And learning is my favorite thing to do.
