Matrioshka

I have this little set of matrioshkas...it's not the one of my childhood ( I think-I hope- one of my brothers has it) . I would spend a lot of time matching exactly the top to the bottom of each doll. Children can be really detail oriented sometimes. So I got this new set in memory of the old one, it's a very special set. If you look closely, the smaller the doll, the more angry it looks. The biggest one looks fairly nice, while the smallest is downright grumpy. I wonder if the artist  who painted the set did it on purpose. I find the idea quite fun, if not a bit depressing. 

I would love to paint my own set. I like the idea of different expressions but I think I will do something a little more cheerful! 

Comme vous pouvez le voir je dessine toujours avec des références, et si possible "sur le motif". Malheureusement, je n'ai pas de lapin, mais mon fils, mon chat, et mes  matriochkas sont souvent mis à contribution. Nous manquons de nuages, c'est dommage , j'aime bien les dessiner. Et si vous connaissez quelqu'un dans ma région qui est propriétaire d'une licorne, ça m'intéresse!
